Privacy Policy

How Skelro Technologies handles personal information on this website and across our products.

Last updated: 1 September 2026  ·  Applies to: skelro.com and the corporate activities of Skelro Technologies. JEEnify and NEETnify each publish their own product privacy policy covering student accounts, attempts and payments; where you use those products, the product policy governs.

1. Who we are

Skelro Technologies (“Skelro”, “we”, “us”) is an education-technology company registered in India at Hadosiddapura, Sarjapura Main Road, Carmelaram Post, Bengaluru 560035, Karnataka. We operate the JEEnify and NEETnify platforms and license Skelro Centers to educational institutions.

For anything in this policy, or to exercise a right described in it, write to privacy@skelro.com.

2. What we collect on this website

skelro.com is a brochure website. It does not host student accounts. We collect:

  • What you send us. If you use the contact form, it opens your own email application — the message reaches us as ordinary email, and we hold the name, email address, phone number, organisation and message you chose to include.
  • Your theme preference. Stored in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers light or dark mode. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
  • Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp for security and reliability. These are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.

We do not run advertising trackers on this website, and we do not sell personal information.

3. Information collected by our products

When you use JEEnify or NEETnify, those platforms collect what is necessary to run a learning account — identity and contact details, your exam and syllabus selections, your attempts and results, device and usage data, and payment confirmations. Card details are handled entirely by regulated payment gateways; we never receive or store them.

Each product publishes its own privacy policy with the full detail, and that policy is the authoritative one for your account there: JEEnify privacy policy ↗, NEETnify privacy policy ↗.

4. Why we process it

  • To respond to you when you contact us about a demo, a partnership, support or a role.
  • To provide and improve our services, including diagnosing faults and understanding which features help students.
  • To keep the platform secure and to protect exam integrity.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations, including retaining transaction records for the period the law requires.

We rely on your consent where you give it, on the performance of our contract with you where you are a customer, on our legitimate interest in running and securing the business, and on legal obligation where one applies.

5. Students under 18

Many of our users are school students, and some are minors. We collect the minimum necessary to operate a learning account, we do not use their data for advertising, and we do not sell it. A parent or guardian may write to privacy@skelro.com to review, correct or delete a minor’s information, and we will verify the request before acting on it.

6. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of our infrastructure — cloud hosting, database, email delivery, analytics and payment processing — under contract and only for that purpose.
  • Your coaching centre, if you joined through a centre. Your centre’s administrators can see your attempts and results in that centre. They cannot see any other centre’s students.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose, and no further than required.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.

7. How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to the people and services that need it, authentication is enforced on every administrative surface, and backups are taken automatically and tested. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, write to security@skelro.com. We do not pursue researchers who disclose in good faith.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiry email is kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Account and attempt data is kept for as long as the account exists, so a student keeps their own history. Financial records are kept for the statutory period. When a retention period ends, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your information where we have no continuing need or legal obligation to keep it;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting what was lawful beforehand;
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

Write to privacy@skelro.com. We respond within the timelines the law sets, and we may ask you to verify your identity first.

10. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage for one thing: remembering your light or dark theme choice. Our product sites use additional strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session management, described in their own policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes affecting existing users are notified through the relevant product.

12. Contact and grievances

For any privacy question, request or complaint, write to privacy@skelro.com or to Skelro Technologies, Hadosiddapura, Sarjapura Main Road, Carmelaram Post, Bengaluru 560035, Karnataka, India. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the appropriate data-protection authority.
